The health and safety of our campers and staff is our top priority! As we welcome in-person, overnight campers, we are taking every precaution to ensure safety by following public health recommendations. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this challenging situation and determine how best to continue providing intentional, adaptive, and fun programming to our community.
Due to the nature of the children and adults we serve, Camp has always upheld high health and safety standards. In response to COVID-19, we have increased our sanitation measures as well as implemented program changes to allow social distancing.
To ensure cleanliness, Camp has implemented the following sanitation procedures:
- Communal spaces cleaned at least daily
- Common use, high-touch areas cleaned multiple times daily
- Deep-cleans of cabins, program areas, and equipment between each session
- All program equipment cleaned after each user
Weekend Camp
To allow social distancing, Camp has modified weekend programming in the following ways:
- One family per cabin
- Families will sign up for activities and play separately
- Mealtimes will have the option of distanced, dine-in service OR grab n’ go
To ensure a fun and safe weekend, we ask that families and staff adhere to the following guidelines:
For 14 Days Before Camp:
- Perform a daily health screening—monitor for cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
- Refrain from air travel and out-of-state travel
Upon Arrival:
- Undergo temperature checks
- Answer a series of screening questions
- Turn in 14-day daily health screening record
While at Camp:
- Wear a mask inside all buildings, at activities (unless otherwise noted), and when social distancing is not possible
- Maintain social distancing (six feet) from other families and staff
- Follow all directional signs for entry and exit of each building
- Listen to all safety guidelines from Camp staff
- Wash and sanitize your hands as often as possible
- Undergo temperature checks at breakfast and dinner
- If you begin exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, quarantine yourself in your cabin and immediately let your camp director know
- If you need additional support during your stay, please let your camp director or CTL camp staff know
Summer Camp
Kids-only summer camp will operate at 60% capacity and follow a cohort model.
A Cabin Cohort is a group of campers and volunteers assigned to a cabin. While in the cabin space, the members should maintain social distancing when possible. When traveling outside the cabin, all participants should be wearing approved masks. No member of a Cabin Cohort should be within the bubble of another cohort and must wear mask within visual presence of another cohort unless otherwise instructed. A Travel Group is comprised of 2 Cabin Cohorts paired together during the day, in which close contact is allowed when masks are being worn.
All activities and programs will be done with travel groups/cohorts in designated areas. Activities, trainings, and down time will be outside whenever possible.
