Spin For Kids is Coming Up!

Spin For Kids is gearing up for its 12th ride, which will be held on October 15th, 2017! Spin For Kids is Camp Twin Lakes' annual fundraising bike ride that helps provide life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, or other life challenges. Over the past 11 years, Spin For Kids has raised over $3 million and has sent more than 6,000 kids to camp. Now is the perfect time to register! Registration price increases from $25 to $35 after July 31st, so register now to get the best deal!

Not sure if Spin For Kids is right for you?  Check out what one of our riders, Andrew Vogel, has to say about the experience!

Andrew has a rich history with Camp Twin Lakes; he was a summer program staff member, has volunteered for multiple week-long partner camps, and even has a sibling who attended camp as a camper. Elaborating on his connection to Camp Twin Lakes, Andrew says “I have seen first-hand the formative impact that Twin Lakes has on campers, as well as the formative impact that a week at camp has on me. In one-week campers are pushed to challenge themselves, learn self-reliance and build self-confidence.” Andrew has competed in many races, including sprint-and Olympic-distance triathlons, but says he enjoys the Spin For Kids ride as it combines his passion for cycling with his passion for camp. “… riding for Spin For Kids is an opportunity to do something I already enjoy doing - cycling - at a beautiful venue like CTL's campus, while also raising money for a cause that I care intensely about. It is rare to have those different passions come together, especially when it's a cause that raises thousands of dollars for camp and makes such a tangible impact in camper's lives.”

Not an active cyclist like  Andrew? No worries! Spin For Kids offers multiple routes, including 5, 15, 27, 47, 62, or 100 mile distances. Along each route, riders enjoy delicious homemade goodies and local fare at our rest stops, while our dedicated team of first aid, route marshals, and bike technicians keeps riders safe. Riders with young children can register their children to participate in Day Camp while their parents are out riding. After crossing the finish line, riders can enjoy free food, music, and a chance to experience camp!

Join Andrew and over 700 other friends for the greatest ride of the year, on October 15th! Register today!
